Installation:

Survey Maker 2.0 automatically installs on your web site in seconds Or, follow the below instructions to install manually.

• Upload survey20.cgi to your cgi-bin directory
• CHMOD survey20.cgi to 755
• Edit survey20.cgi to the correct paths for your web server

To create new surveys/polls or to see how many people voted and to see percentages for each category, point your web browser to:

http://www.yourserver.com/cgi-bin/survey20.cgi?area=login

Displaying Surveys:

To have your surveys and polls displayed on your web site, just add this line of code:

Just use your own URL to your cgi-bin directory and use the filename that you created in the administration section in place of survey

Optional Variables:

display - Set to 1 to show the actual number of votes for each option. Set to 2 to show the percentages for each.

border - Set from 1 to 10 depending on how thick you want the border around the survey

Below are used only if you use the pop up mode

width - Set to the number of pixels wide you want the pop up window to be

height - Set to the number of pixels high you want the pop up window to be

popup - Set to 1 to have your survey pop up instead of displaying statically on your page
