Installation:
Quick Mailer 2.0 automatically installs on your web site in seconds Or, follow the below instructions to install manually.
- Place quickmail20.cgi and verifylib.pl in your cgi-bin directory
- Open quickmail20.cgi in your favorite editor
- Set the temporary directory in the script to store mailing list (chmod to 777)
- Set the $SMTP_SERVER variable to your mail server. Usually this can be set to localhost
- chmod quickmail20.cgi and verifylib.pl to 755
- Call quickmail20.cgi from your web browser
- That's it!
NOTE: Your mailing list can be in any format. It can include HTML, and even odd characters. Quick Mailer 2.0 will find all e-mail addresses automatically.
